Can I search by a different group name or trade name the entity is part of?
As part of the structured profiles for entities, Dow Jones will add, always when the information is available from public domain, any official names the entity is known by. Such names can include aliases, trade names and any other alternative names for a company, as long as these can be located in official sources, such as business registers, company website, annual reports, etc. and are in line with our editorial policies.
For example, BMW will be added for Bayerische MotorWerkethe, Singtel for Singapore Telecommunications etc.
Any search matching either the primary name or any of the aliases will then be able to locate the profiles.
