      What is the RiskScreen Source of Wealth Module?

      And how does it work?

      Source of Wealth is an important factor within building up the accumulative risk rating of your client, when performing KYC, through identifying where your clients accumulated wealth has come from including how it has been made, to identify any factors which could increase the risk of onboarding your client. 

      Similarly to our live adverse media search (AVM) within RiskScreen, the SOW module for RiskScreen performs a targeted key search term against Google and Bing (and Bing News for our Enhanced Search & Reporting customers) in order to pull through articles on the public domain which references some of the general SOW terms 

       

      Differing from the standard AVM search, however, the SOW module also has the ability to drill down through the use of the Detailed Source of Wealth search terms, which can be switched ON/OFF as per our radio buttons (image below)

      The Detailed Source of Wealth search terms drills down, using specific key search terms based on the 5 categories:

      • General Terms  
      • Commercial
      • Employment
      • Assets
      • Family
      • Compliance
