      What is the AVM functionality?

      The Batch Adverse Media functionality has two options.

      1. Factiva Database
      2. Additional Batch Module - Live AVM (additional costs)

      The difference between these two options are that Factiva articles are only confirmed convictions - no suspicion or allegations. Dow Jones have their own 'Factiva' team who will investigate the articles, and fully confirm the adverse actions have occurred and are legitimate. This will then get linked to the standard Dow Jones profile. Whereas the Live AVM module offers a wider scope of AVM searches that are completely configurable by yourself. The Live AVM module utilises web engines and your configurable criteria to search and return the results for you to investigate. This is an additional, paid for module option for  Screening (Hosted Batch).
