What is the difference between Factiva and Google/Bing?

Factiva provides what is known as structured Adverse Media, whereas Google and Bing, in RiskScreen (previously Core) and in our additional AVM Module to Screening, give unstructured Adverse Media results.

The difference is Factiva provides a smaller, more curated feed present with corroborated articles whereas Google/Bing is much bigger providing more breadth in terms of coverage.

Whereas the main purpose of the Live AVM module is to be given a ‘heads up’ to perhaps reputational risk, future high risk concerns and the like for new and existing customers 

Factiva articles are located in the 'details' tab, of the Dow Jones profile for the individual.
